RENOVATION

FIXER UPPER HOMES

Joe and I LOVE to take neglected homes and make them new and beautiful again. Often we add in larger mudrooms, laundry rooms, extra bedrooms or bathrooms and transform basements into beautiful lower level havens. We add our own unique custom vanities in bathrooms and create built-in bench seating in kitchens or mudrooms. We love hints of the industrial look, as well as live edge work to customize kitchen, bathroom, mudroom and laundry shelving.

ROOM RENOVATIONS

Perhaps you don’t need your whole home renovated but you have a smaller project that you’d like completed. We specialize in all types of room renovations. Decorating is the cherry on top, so don’t forget it.

HOME CONSULTATION - $275

All home staging and decorating begin with the home consultation.

A detailed 2 hour walk-through of your home is included in the consultation. A written report is provided with suggestions of how to transform your space.

If you choose to do-the recommendations yourself, then I’ll give you the report and off you go. If you want me to do the staging or decorating, then a budget is created and I’ll get to work.

WHY STAGE YOUR HOME?

When people are looking for a home, they go straight to the internet. If something catches their eye, they schedule a visit. You have about 5 to 10 seconds to get a buyer’s attention. A home that’s beautifully decorated, clean, clutter free and well-appointed, stands out and will want to be viewed in person. Whether your potential buyer is looking on line or in person, you want them to be WOWed at first sight. Get your home “picture perfect”.

HOME STAGING - (Decorating to Sell)

After the home consultation, I will transform your home and get it ready to sell. Services I offer when staging a home may include: improving curb appeal, creating focal points, furniture placement, decluttering, organizing, adding decor, moving around your existing decorations and furniture to better-suited locations, recommend repairs if needed, and decorating it.

As much as possible I try to use your existing furnishings in new ways, but there are times when removing the old and bringing in new furniture will drastically help the sale of your home. No one wants to take ownership of your old couch and college dressers, so investing a little extra goes a long way.

Since most Vermont homes are sold furnished, it’s an added plus when potential buyers see new items included and the home is TRULY turn-key for them.

The staging investment can easily be built into the asking price, so it’s a win/win for everyone. Staged homes sell faster. Staged homes get more views on realtor sites. When homes are tastefully decorated, especially in a Vermont rustic chic style, they get noticed.
